This is the best astronomy app on iOS.

I love the app it’s just I wish they would bring the price of the night sky plus down

I love astronomy, and this app is very helpful for pointing out certain stars and planets. I can also attach this to a telescope so that it is much easier to point it at a certain point in the sky.

How to destroy planets?

I haven’t figured out how to cancel it yet

I want to u plz modify app by adding settings - night sky view for naked eyes, night sky view for binocular vision 2x and then 3x …. And so on. It’s too difficult to use ur present app.

The best app if you want to look up at the night sky and learn about them. love it just love it🩷

You can look at the stars on the moons planets try it out you will love it

Remember when you could buy software and not subscribe to it for the rest of your life. I rather pay 40 up front and be done with it. Shame.

I just want to point into the sky and me the name, star, it’s and zodiac symbol So I can talk about it at break time at work the day.

Using this one of a kind augmented reality app I was able to create a new part of my mind that loved astronomy and adventure.

No moolah no star-zoolah

Was nice when it was free. Don’t use it enough to justify another subscription. On the plus side I’ve learned to use books to learn about the night sky now

I downloaded this app during a recent planetary alignment because I couldn’t tell what I was looking at in the stars. This app showed me exactly which stars, planets, and constellations I was seeing!! It was amazing and made the experience so special. The view moved around as I pointed the phone to different areas of the night sky and it made it so easy to chart the sky. Technology like in this app would have been magic a century ago.

I have decided to change my review to 5 stars. It is still not the best star gazing app I have used, and I still think there should be a space exploration feature. However, I know this is meant for star gazing, but if you add a space exploration feature I would very much like that. Apart from that, the only other thing is the whole thing is a little too cluttered. Everything else is fine. Good work!

Been using it off and on now for several years. I wish I could pull out and see how our solar system sits within our galaxy. Maybe there is a way that I just don’t know?

I really LOVE this app 😍

My stepmom’s family along with my 6 brothers, dad, and I have gone up to the upper peninsula of Michigan for a week in early October since I was really little. Last year we went and we usually hang out at my meema and papa’s RV that they keep up there at a campsite near the bridge until it’s really late and we need to go back to our cabin. Anyway, my dad brought these rocking folding chairs and when I leaned back, I saw a shooting star. We were pretty far north so it was easy to see the sky. I begged my dad to download an app so we could see the sky and even though it’s a bit off he downloaded this one and it was so cool. There was a mention shower happening right above us and we saw so many satellites. 9/10 app, only took one off because it’s a little bit off.

Tonight “Conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter”. I won’t be able to view this event because there is a large orange lighting bolt alert right in the middle of the event that won’t go away. Please fix this or help. Thank you. (Also, are the “Cloud Coverage” and “Light Pollution Map” icon’s so important that must always be on the screen ?? If I can control the app with my mouse, why the ever present “-“”+” icon’s ?)

I first got this app and I loved it I can see all the planets on this like Uranus, mars ,Jupiter etc and I can also see satellites and star constellations.

App ignore’s Do no disturb settings and pings for ISS flying overhead in the middle of the night. Deleting.

Don’t buy this app unless you’re serious about the sky, universe, tons of planetary details. Packed with interactive information. This is the best sky app I’ve ever used. I’d buy it again.

I bought this years ago, and now it’s asking me every few minutes to pay more.

It would be better if I could just see what I wanted… the planets. Too ‘busy’

I spent over a half hour trying to find out how to cancel the free trial. Oh boy, they make it so easy to just ‘click’ and you are off & going - but just try to find out how to cancel so you won’t have to pay six dollars a month for the rest of your life? It’s not easy. Let me tell you. I never did find a paragraph specifically telling me how to council of free trial. All they said was “contact us”. But how? Where? Do you think maybe that that is the method to their madness? I think this comes under the category of “There ought to be a law!”

This was an amazing idea. I love being able to look at the stars looking at the stars just makes me so calm and the music is a very calm just makes me feel in my happy place. It helps me because when I grow up, I would like to be a Astronomer. I love astronomy.

2/26/25 …Night Sky notifications are useful, but unreliable. They work for a while after you set them up and activate them, but then, at some indeterminate point, they just stop working. They do tend to start working again after you launch the app, but eventually the same thing just happens all over again. This is some weird stuff and it has been going on for years. I must also say that this is the only app I have that behaves this way. Could you guys fix this?

The app is pretty good. It’s just sometimes I can get a little bit overwhelming because I’m trying to move the phone and it’s saying a lot of stuff at once but overall the app is pretty cool.

Pretty cool app I definitely would recommend this.Saw all the planets and even Orion.night sky is a really cool app to use when you’re bored and want to do something fun like looking at the stars or moon
