Update So they have released an older version for those of us that lost everything until the fix update is ready ++++. I thought I was doing a general update , but when I tried to run the app after saying no thanks to the free 1 month trial I was unable to get anything to load so I eventually I said yes to free 1 month trial and it still wont run on my I Pad 3 running 9.3.5. . I went to the main web site to send an query , but that wont work either . I have tried deleting and reinstalling , but still no success . What is going on . I had a perfectly good working Night Sky and now I have nothing ???

It sucks I want to see where planets are and they dont show

Didnt play because, although free (app of the week), after a 1 month free trial you must pay. Werent apps of the week supposed to be free to use ?

We need to pay money to even use this app. I Thought it was free app of the day, not "pay for app of the day" Also, the money part is the subscription part. I hate subscriptions.

This is so not "free" you have to pay for the app the pay for a 1 month trial!!!

I enjoy using the app but I cant stand the idea of subscriptions.

Does a great job at showing you all there is to see up there, including satellites. Like other apps of its kind you have light spectrum control but you also get light pollution control space time travel and astrophotography feature. If you want to check out Apollo 11 and 15 landing sites, get up to date daily sky viewing conditions including cloud coverage and light pollution density in your area, see a list of nearby stargazing sites and moon phases along with monthly news articles, then you have the option of a monthly subscription for a dollar. These extra features that other apps dont offer are cool and you get them for free the first month to decide if you want to keep them or not. Great app!

Such a brilliant supernatural app! The music which accompanies the magnificent star views is magical too!

free app of the week not free in fact you have to purchase a lot to even use it at a basic level. bs.

If you take the update to Night Sky 2 it deactivates it and prompts you to download version 4. I paid for the pro version of the first edition, then paid again for the pro version of 2. Not going to pay again.

...EVER!! Perhaps a tad of Hyperbole, but a little hyperbole goes a LONG way!

Ever want to know whats under your bed? Well I never did until now. Go on an intergalactic space journey without the terrifying reality that are black holes! You get to see pirate ships, polar bears, a side table (seriously there is a constellation that looks like a side table) and more! Sure ya gotta pay 1.25 a month but how else would you know that the Big Dipper is actually called Mursa Major?! Probably if you went to school but for all you too cool for school or too broke to choke out a dime towards astronomy class; This app is the one for you!

Vraiment agréable et instructif The best in the west

This was such a great app before the recent update. But now there is nothing but a black screen when I open it. I can still search or open the settings, but the night has gone dark :(

I, like many, actually purchased Night Sky Pro and now its been replaced with this app that wants everyone to "subscribe" and pay recurring charges. Just great. Users always love paying recurring charges for functionalities, especially when they feel uncertain as to whether or not they may have already paid for some of said functionalities in a previous version. PLUS this new NightSky app has crashed within 15 seconds every time Ive opened it. iPhone 6s+. Didnt have a single issue with the previous version. Gave this two stars only because of how good the last version was. This new thing might be great if it actually worked (couldnt tell you?) Shoddy product roll-out, changes no one seems to have asked for and an unusable app. Way to blow it, guys. Really, really unfortunate as I loved NightSky Pro.

I make a point of memorizing a new constellation every time! This app is so useful!

Very usefull app, when you browse night skys, and look at stars with your gilfriend at night. Recomend all romantic people as well as sientists. Best Regards, T.K.
