Doesnt track direction when you aim it in different directions

I bought this app for my iPhone 5 and it tracked the direction (north, south, east, west) the phone was aimed, and the camera fine-tuned the aim of the display. Now it says North when it is pointed East, and turning the phone I different directions it just gets more and more out of whack. The compass function on my iPhone is working fine, so apparently the updates have broken it. Too bad. I removed and reinstalled it - still acts screwy. Dont seem to be supporting it as far as I can tell. I guess all their energy is going into their new scope product.
